- The Wentzville, Missouri Police Department provides a safe and proper way to dispose of your unwanted prescription and non-prescription medications. They offer a Drug Collection and Disposal Drop Box, which is a secured, steel mailbox/collection box. Find out what is accepted, drop-off location and more here.
- For those of you who are located outside of the Wentzville, MO area, I strongly urge you to check with your local law enforcement agency or city/county government offices to see if your area offers a similar “drop box” program.
- Earth911 – Their comprehensive recycling directory contains recycling information for over 300 materials. You can search for recycling options and resources near you at earth911.com.
- Freecycle – You can give your items away that you no longer want or need for FREE in your community. Visit freecycle.org to find a group in your area.

- Empty, dried paint cans can be dropped off at the St. Charles County recycling center, Recycle Works – Central location
- First you have to dispose the water based paint:
- Crumple up newspaper
- Put in a cardboard box
- Slowly drizzle paint over newspaper
- Once the paint is completely dried, the box can be included in your garbage pick-up
